Brace yourselves, winter is here!

Hi all!

As my computer broke down (I can´t access my windows account) I have to use a computer at school to write a post, but as these computers have Danish keyboards, I decided to write in English, as I don´t have the letters for writing in Hungarian. My super luck stroke again... I´m not even surprised but really mad, and I hope that I will be able to access my data and files, as I have some important stuff on my laptop. I tried to follow google’s instructions to fix it, but it wasn´t doing what it was supposed to according to google, so I gave up. Then today I brought it to the IT guys at school, and they wanted to run a CD on it, but of course my precious doesn´t run CDs anymore either. So I´m either left without a laptop for almost two weeks until I finally go home and hopefully get someone to fix it, or tomorrow the IT guys will figure out something else.

But at least Marta will be glad to read an English post again! :P

So last week we had our module 1 Danish exam. We needed to prepare 2 projects to talk about, one about ourselves and our family (Mig og min familie) and one about a general day (En almindelig dag). Then we had 2 books which we had to read and give a summary about (Gammelt venskab- An old friendship, Susanne er syg-Susanne is sick). Finally we read 2 articles about the storm on the 28th of October and some pictures, and we had to summarize that one as well. Me, Stephanie and Leonie studied together on Thuesday and practiced our presentations. And the same thing before the exam on Wednesday. Thus we felt pretty confident with our knowledge, except maybe with the article. So me and Steph went in together to the examination, and we pulled a topic. We both pulled “En almindelig dag”= A usual day, and then we told it to the examiner who then asked some questions. We answered the questions, then we received a picture about which we had to ask approximately 10 questions and the examiner answered them. She doesn´t just answer them, she made up a whole story about it. So it was pretty hard to ask new things because she already answered everything without even asking it… :/ Anyways, we passed. So we were happy, and now we can go on with module 2 in January!

After the exam on Wednesday we drank mulled wine at Stephanies´with Kristiina and Leonie. Then we went to the weekly movie night at school which is not an official thing, just some fellow students came up with the idea to watch movies together in one of the audiences with the help of the projector. So we went there and watched a movie I don´t remember the title of. :D There are some security guys wandering around campus at night checking people if they have a student card or not. (As you can only access the premises with a student card) So one of them came into the room, but I guess he has met the movie watching group previously, so he just left without saying anything. :D

Then on Thursday and Friday I didn´t leave my room as a huge storm came again. Our classes were cancelled so I didn´t have anything to do. I read some articles but otherwise I just relaxed, watched series and stuff and checked sometimes what´s happening outside. Between 1 and 2 in the afternoon on Thursday the sky went totally black, and a fucking huge hailstorm with lightning and thunders came. I was like: Dafaq? Thunderstorm in December? Fucking scary. But it was not that long. And between 4 and 6 the wind was the strongest, around 100km/hour. Freeking loud at my place, but luckily nothing happened around me.

On Saturday I finally allowed myself to go out, and there was snow everywhere. On one hand I was happy for the first snow, but then I realized cycling in icy snow is not that much fun. Almost fell a couple of times, but managed to arrive to my destination safely. After a skating session I went home around 12:30, the sun was shining, and the snow looked awesome, so I decided to go in to the park to take some pictures:

Then around 13 I left the park to go home, just to realize that the sky is freeking black again. I felt like I better hurry otherwise I´m screwed but the snowstorm cached me just 1 minute later. It looked like this:

But when I finally managed to arrive back home, the sun was shining again. Typical! But actually I kinda enjoyed cycling in the snow, except that I didn´t see that much as the snow was falling in my eyes. I guess ski glasses would be a good idea to use during a snowstorm. By the way, today the temperature is back to 9 degrees again, so I guess no snow for a while…

When I arrived home I realized my laptop is useless so I became mad, then I had a headache and tried to sleep but I couldn´t. All in all, it wasn´t the best day... But at night we went to a party at the St. George kollegiet. (Finally, after missing the previous 2) But of course it was kinda lame, not that many people, not the best music. But we were drunk enough as we managed to drink a couple of bottles of alcohol. So we played a card game in one of the kitchens, which was so much fun. I don´t know the name of the game, but it was about fruits on cards, and you had to ring a bell once you saw 5 of the same type of fruit on the table while everyone put down one card after each other. I ruled the game, and I loved it! :D Then I spent the night at Stephanies´, as she offered me to sleep there as it is like 50m far from St George and she was in Germany during that time. So I didn´t have to cycle home 4km. On Sunday nothing happened, everyone was just relaxing and trying to get ready for this week, which will be quite busy, and sooner or later I´m going to write a post about it!

So stay tuned! ;)
